PCTA Mid-Oregon Volunteers

Mid-Oregon Stewards gather in March 2019.

Mid-Oregon Volunteers care for 160+ miles of the PCT between Windigo Pass and Breitenbush Lake. This mostly Wilderness segment is split into smaller sections, each overseen by an individual volunteer steward or club organization. Stewards and clubs monitor and survey conditions on their section and supervise work projects to address log out, tread maintenance, and other access issues.

Get Involved

Trail work is fun and rewarding. We welcome all volunteers with varying levels of experience (or no experience at all)!

If you’d rather volunteer off the trail, please get in touch. There are many ways to help our chapter and the Trail ‘behind the scenes’ that don’t require digging in the dirt. We’re currently looking for a Volunteer Community Coordinator – contact [email protected] for more details!
